What We Do

As soon as we met Craig it was clear that he had an immediate understanding of what we were after, and enthusiasm to work with us. We wanted to replace 100 year old glass with double glazing, yet maintain the character of the windows. Craig assured us he could achieve this and from the start put our interests first, with a desire to deliver only the best result. There were no problems throughout the project, instead we were greeted with a positive, can-do attitude. We would have no hesitation in recommending Craig to others as he delivers a great result and is a pleasure to work with.

Dear Craig,I thought I would give you an update as this is our first complete winter with the double glazing in. It is just awesome.The house feels much drier and warmer.Nil condensation (unless cooking) even though we don't use curtains in the living area. The heat pump is used less often and now set 3/4 degrees less than it was.In the summer we rarely used the air conditioner. The workmanship remains top notch. We miss having your company around and you can come back and clean the windows again anytime as I can't get them as clean!! Many Thanks.

Craig undertook the retro-fitting of double glazing units into the timber frames of our existing 1960’s home.
We spent a lot of time looking at other double glazing options for our home, from total replacement of our existing joinery to new aluminium, retro-fitting aluminium shashes into our existing timber frames and other double glazing solutions but none come even close to the affordability and easy of Reconstruct’s solution.
